There were some problems on the road - the aircraft team in Riga did not want to let us in the plane with the guitars, so we were a bit scared about the safety of the instruments as they were put in the same place where all the hard case luggage usually goes.

After we missed our train from Paris to Nantes as the plane was delayed for one hour!

After we got to Nantes we made a great meal - pasta with French goodies from the local shops. We stayed in a lovely apartment in the heart of the city and made a new friend - cat Rocky who is our friend for life now!

In the daytime we did a small tour in the city and saw the great things in Machines de l'ile - wooden carousels and simulators, carved from wood and metal. The power of human mind and ability has no limits indeed...

The concert was almost near and the time was marching as fast as the grand elephant of Nantes.

The concert was opened by the local band from Nantes - Hecleptique! Interesting and fun to see! Soon after the gates of Triana Park were to be opened and we were a bit nervous about the crowd - will they welcome a band they do not know and that comes from a far away country called Latvia?

The concert was amazing! The people welcomed us so nice! We are happy to know that now we have some thousand new french friends! The photos from the concert will be posted here very soon!

After the concert the crowd did not let us go so easy - we repeated Breathless and this is truly how we feel about Nantes and France now!

Our backstage tent had some wonderful wine, cheese and other french snacks. We had a lovely afterparty with our French friends in a cozy pizzeria in the centre of Nantes. The morning started with an early train to Paris.

Despite the fact that we left Nantes on time, we missed our plane, so now we know that the system of metro and trains in Paris is unpredictable.

Our airplane took off without us and now we are staying in a lovely hotel near the airport.

The memories from the great concert are keeping our minds in a positive mood!
